Opus Clip vs Submagic
Verdict
They do different jobs. Pick Opus Clip to find and cut the best moments from long videos: one tester got 24 ranked clips from a 59-minute episode in 8 minutes, and Starter costs $15 a month for 150 minutes of source video. Pick Submagic to caption and polish short clips you already have: testers found its animated captions accurate on clean audio, but cutting long videos needs its $19-a-month Magic Clips add-on.
Based on published plans and other people's hands-on tests, not on a test of our own.
