Affiliate and advertising disclosure

Some links on toolist.ai are affiliate links. If you buy a tool through one, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Such links are marked "paid link" beside the button and carry rel="sponsored".

toolist.ai also shows ads served by Google AdSense. Google chooses the ads; we don't pick the advertisers, and an advertiser can't buy a place in a comparison or a verdict. Ads appear only on finished pages, never on pages still being written. How Google uses cookies for these ads is explained on our privacy page.

toolist.ai also sells services to AI companies: reports on how often AI assistants recommend their products, and a launch package that includes a researched listing on this site. A listing bought this way says "Paid listing" at the top of its page, and links to the company's site carry rel="sponsored". The company pays for the research and the listing, not for what it says: it cannot write, choose or approve the text, and it cannot buy a better verdict or a place in a comparison. Buying a report does not change what the AI assistants answer or how we count their answers. See For AI companies.

Some pages can carry a sponsor slot: one box labeled "Sponsored", above the directory or under a table in the cost calculator or the AI recommendation index. The company named in it paid for the box and wrote its one line, which we check against our record of the tool. The box never changes a table, its order, a price, the AI recommendation index or our research, and its link carries rel="sponsored".

Commissions, ads, sponsor slots and paid listings don't change the research or the verdicts. We also cover tools that pay us nothing, and we say when a tool's program doesn't accept sites like this one.
