Terms of sale

Updated 8 October 2026.

These terms cover what toolist.ai sells to companies on For AI companies: the launch package ($129 once), the AI-visibility report ($99 once) and AI-visibility tracking ($49 a month). By paying, you accept them.

Who you buy from

toolist.ai is an independently owned website. Your Stripe receipt names the seller. Contact: hello@toolist.ai.

What you get

Each product includes what its description on For AI companies lists on the day you buy, delivered within the time it states. Business days are Monday to Friday, except Canadian statutory holidays. When we need something from you, such as your competitors or your questions, the delivery time starts once you reply.

Paid listings

• A listing in the launch package follows the same research rules as every other page. We check your prices against your public pricing page and write what our sources say, including drawbacks.
• You do not write, choose or approve what we publish. If you find a factual error, email us; once a public source confirms it, we correct it within 5 business days.
• The page says "Paid listing", and links to your site carry rel="sponsored".
• The listing stays up for at least 12 months, and we update its prices when we re-check them.
• We may decline a product that is illegal, deceptive or adult, or that we cannot research from public sources. If we decline, we refund you in full.

AI-visibility reports and tracking

• We ask the assistants through their providers' programming interfaces, with web search on. Answers vary from run to run and can differ from what a person sees in the apps; a report shows what the assistants said when we asked.
• We do not promise that any assistant will recommend your product, or that your share will rise.
• Answers to the questions we write may appear in toolist.ai's public statistics on which tools AI assistants recommend. The questions you add, and the fact that you bought from us, stay private.

Directory submissions

In the launch package, we submit your product to the listed directories that take a public form or an email, using details you approve. Each directory decides whether and when to publish it; we do not control its decisions, queues or fees. For sites that need your own account, you get a ready-to-paste kit instead.

Tracking subscription

Tracking renews every month until you cancel. Email us to cancel; we cancel within one business day, and tracking ends when the month you paid for ends.

Refunds

• Before we start work on your order, you can cancel for a full refund.
• If we miss the delivery time and you ask, we refund that product in full.
• If we decline your product, we refund you in full.
• Once a report is delivered or a listing is published on time, the payment is not refundable. A tracking month that has started is not refunded.
• Refunds go back to the card you paid with.

Prices and payment

Prices are in US dollars. Stripe processes payments; we never see your card number. Prices can change for new orders. Tracking customers get 30 days' notice by email before their price changes.

Liability

We provide each product with reasonable care. Our total liability for an order is what you paid for it. We are not liable for lost profits, or for decisions you make based on what AI assistants said.

Law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. We may update them; the version in force on the day you paid applies to your order.
