What they tested: Text-to-video and AI image generation on the free plan, plus the editor.

  • Text-to-video was slower than Kapwing and Fliki but followed the prompt word for word.
  • A 5-second AI video cost 40-50 credits, so the free plan allows about one.
  • The same image cost about 20 credits with one model and 5 with another.
  • Subtitle styling rated among the best available; several tools are hidden in menus.

What they tested: The AI video generator, script generator and slides-to-video for course videos and a product ad. Plan names have changed since.

  • A bare prompt gave a thin tutorial; results improved with a better script.
  • Lip sync was sometimes off with some avatars.
  • Slides to video worked well but is capped at 20 slides.
