Article Forge review: pricing, features and what testers found

Article Forge is an AI article generator from Glimpse.ai that writes a whole long-form article, with sections and subsections, from a keyword and optional instructions; it can write in bulk, post to WordPress and connect through an API. Paid plans start at $27 a month for 25,000 words, or $13 a month billed yearly.

Our take

Article Forge writes a whole long-form article from a keyword and sells it by the word: Standard costs $27 a month for 25,000 words, $57 for 250,000 or $127 for 500,000, or $13, $27 and $57 a month billed yearly. Fahim Joharder, who used it for 60 days, rated it 3.5/5: bulk runs were fast and the drafts usable, but loosely worded keywords produced generic articles and some had factual errors; in a 2023 test, Graeme Whiles of Originality.ai found a trial article stayed on topic but was thin on SEO structure. The main caveat is the fine print: the pricing page promises a 30-day refund if you made fewer than ten articles, but the terms call payments non-refundable, and cancelling deletes all your content at once.

Based on Article Forge's published plans and the hands-on tests linked below, not on a test of our own.

Good for

  • Niche-site owners and SEO publishers who need many keyword-targeted first drafts a month and will edit them
  • WordPress sites that want articles written and scheduled to post automatically

Watch out for

  • Words are the limit: each article deducts the length you request (the difference comes back if it is shorter, and you never pay for extra if it is longer), and the allowance resets each month on your billing date; the help center does not mention carrying unused words over.
  • Articles can come back shorter than requested: the help center says the writer stops when it runs out of on-topic material, and suggests broader keywords or rerunning.
  • Of the Standard plans, only the 500,000-word one allows more than one user: 3 seats included, each extra seat $10 a month; an account writes one article at a time and queues up to 5.
  • The trial needs a credit card and allows up to 10,000 words; unless you cancel before the 5 days end, you are billed for the plan you picked.
  • The pricing page offers a 30-day money-back guarantee if you made fewer than ten articles, but the terms say payments are non-refundable, with no refunds for dissatisfaction, partial months or unused time, and that 'risk free' means only the free trial.
  • Cancelling deletes all your content immediately with no way to recover it, so export articles first; the terms also say that without an enterprise agreement the service is for personal use only.

What hands-on testers found

We have not tested Article Forge ourselves. These are the published tests we found that used it hands-on, newest first; follow the links for the full reviews.

Fahim AI · Fahim Joharder · updated February 28, 2026

What they tested: 60 days of paid use, by his account, writing more than 50 articles across 8 niches for three niche blogs, including a 10-keyword bulk run and articles in Spanish and French.

  • A bulk run of 10 keywords returned 10 separate, on-topic articles in under 15 minutes.
  • Articles were only as specific as the keywords he gave, and some contained factual errors he corrected before publishing.
  • Spanish and French output was a usable start but not polished, and he found it weak on technical or complex topics.

Their score: 3.5/5

Originality.ai · Graeme Whiles · updated August 20, 2025

What they tested: One free-trial article on the keyword 'capsule wardrobe' (1,500+ words requested, with instructions, an image and Avoid AI Detection on), checked with the AI detector Originality.ai sells; the test dates from 2023 (first published 21 August 2023, text unchanged since) and lists the four-tier prices Article Forge showed then ($27 to $247 a month).

  • The article kept to the keyword and brief and added the requested image, but used only four H2 headings, with no H3s, lists, links or bold text.
  • With Avoid AI Detection on, Originality.ai's own detector read at least 57% of the article as human-written; Grammarly flagged grammar errors and wordy passages, and the score changed once they were fixed.
  • It singled out bulk generation and WordPress posting as strengths, while saying articles still need edits to match a brand's voice.

Their score: Summary 9/10
